As you can see from the model naming, Lumena’s classic lantern has a retro-modern design. A rotary dial is applied to the upper part to give the overall shape a classic look and an analog sensibility to the user. Digital expression was not used as much as possible so that users who enjoy camping could have an emotional and comfortable feeling. However, for a long use time in the camping field, the large capacity battery had to be well reflected in the shape. The large-capacity battery at the bottom is detachable and has a design that can increase the user’s utilization in various situations.

NEP+ carried out the project closely with LUMENA’s design team. It focused on interpreting the keyword classic in accordance with the camping environment and creating images. As a result, it was found that the visual sensibility and PUI sensibility should be defined together, and the design was completed.

Our product design team carried out detailed follow-up work requested by the client to develop this concept into a mass-produced product. The design correction process for mold development and production and assembly problems were solved, and the emotional quality and CMF development that consumers could feel were faithfully performed.
